Report a Problem
Reports are the fastest way to keep Hodie safe. Every report is reviewed by a human, reporting is anonymous, and the person you report is never told who reported them.
Report someone in the app
The quickest path — use this whenever you can:
- Open the person's profile, or your conversation with them
- Tap the … (more) button
- Choose Report and tell us what happened
Reporting also blocks the person: you disappear from each other's feeds and they can no longer contact you.
Report someone you're no longer matched with
If you've unmatched someone (so their conversation is gone) and need to report them, email support@migla.io with:
- The first name and approximate age shown on their profile
- What happened, with as much detail as you're comfortable sharing
- Screenshots, if you have them
We can locate matches from your account history, so don't worry if you don't have everything.
Report illegal content
If you believe content on Hodie is illegal (for example: threats, exploitation, or content involving minors), report it in the app or email support@migla.io with the subject "Illegal content". Under the EU Digital Services Act you may also include why you consider the content illegal, the exact content concerned, your name and email, and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith. We acknowledge DSA notices and tell you the outcome of our review.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — in the EU dial 112.
What happens after you report
- A human reviews every report — typically within 24–48 hours, faster for safety issues
- We may warn, restrict, or permanently ban the reported account
- Content involving minors or credible threats is escalated and, where required, referred to law enforcement
- We never reveal your identity to the person you reported
Appeals
If we've taken action against your account and you believe we got it wrong, email support@migla.io with the subject "Appeal" within 6 months. A different reviewer takes a fresh look. See our Community Guidelines for what is and isn't allowed.
